We are a CARF accredited provider for the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN), and are driven to provide high quality care for the populations that we serve.
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Janitor to join our team part-time.
The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment for our clients and visitors.
This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Vacuuming all common areas and staff offices.
Tidying common areas to ensure they are presentable for clients and visitors.
Disinfecting surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Cleaning and sanitizing kitchens, restrooms, and common areas, and ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
Cleaning client group areas before and after sessions.
Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to remove dirt and debris.
Mopping floors to keep them clean and free of spills.
Adhering to confidentiality requirements such as HIPAA and 42 CFR.
Ensuring proper safety protocols are followed, including placing wet floor signs and handling cleaning chemicals safely.
Performing occasional floor waxing to maintain the appearance of floors.
Attending staff meetings as needed.
Completing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Good communication skills Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed Beginning Step is an equal opportunity employer.
