We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Travel Agent to join our team.
As a Travel Agent, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements.
If you have a passion for travel, excellent customer service skills, and a knack for sales, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF AGENCY EXPERIENCE TO APPLY - Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their travel needs and preferences are met - Assist clients in selecting and booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel services - Research various destinations, attractions, and travel options to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients - Collaborate with hotels, airlines, car rental companies, and other travel partners to secure the best rates and deals for clients - Handle any necessary changes or cancellations to travel plans, ensuring minimal disruption for clients - Stay informed about current travel trends, industry regulations, and new destinations to enhance your knowledge and expertise - Promote additional services such as travel insurance or guided tours to enhance the client's travel experience - Maintain accurate records of client interactions and bookings using our designated software system Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or customer service industry is preferred - Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell travel services - Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively and understand client needs - Proficient in using computer reservation systems (CRS) or global distribution systems (GDS) - Knowledge of popular travel destinations, attractions, and visa requirements - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple bookings simultaneously - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
