00 for Integrated Infant Mental Health Therapists (working with children from 0 - 3 years old and their families) OPEN POSITIONS & SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Infant Mental Health Therapist (0 - 6 years old and their families) The Infant Mental Health Therapists work as members of a team with program staff and community sources to provide a continuum of services to young children and families in an effort to strengthen and preserve families, assist in identifying individual needs, and provide and assist in coordinating services to meet each individual's needs.
At least one year direct clinical experience in providing therapy services to young children and their families required (includes graduate internship experiences).
Infant Mental Health certification and/or endorsement preferred.
Waiver to provided clinical services to birth to three population provided by employer to work towards endorsement.
School Based Therapist (K - 12 and their families) The School Based Therapists are responsible for providing direct clinical and therapeutic services and interventions to the children, youth, and families in our partner districts.
Services are delivered in either the public outpatient or homebased level of care, within a school based setting.
Mental health wellness & education, participation on multi-disciplinary teams and group facilitation is also required within this role.
Must meet criteria as a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) Trained and has one year of experience in the examination, evaluation and treatment of minors and their families Clinical knowledge, comprehensive assessment skills and experience related to the coordinator and delivery of mental health and co-occurring services to children and families Integrated Infant Mental Health Therapists (0 - 3 years old and their families) The Integrated Infant Mental Health Therapists work within the program staff and community sources team to provide a continuum of services to young children and families in an effort to strengthen and preserve families, assist in identifying individual needs, and provide and assist in coordinating services to meet each individuals needs.
The position will be housed in a medical setting and the position will be a member of the OB/GYN team and/or partner with Labor and Delivery departments.
Registration/licensure as a social worker, counselor, or psychologist in the State of Michigan required.
Certification preferred.
Infant Mental Health certification, endorsement or waiver required for 0 - 3 population required upon hire or within 3 months of employment.
At least one year direct clinical experience in providing therapy services to young children and their families preferred.
