- Provide exceptional customer service to members by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product and service recommendations.
- Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers.
- Assist members with loan applications and provide information on available loan options.
- Perform accurate and efficient debit and credit transactions.
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate fees, interest rates, and loan payments.
- Maintain knowledge of bank products and services to effectively cross-sell and meet member needs.
- Identify potential fraudulent activities and take appropriate actions to prevent or detect fraud.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and procedures.
Skills:
- Strong customer relationship management skills to build rapport with members and provide personalized service.
- Proficiency in financial sales techniques to promote products and services effectively.
- Knowledge of loan processing procedures and ability to assist members with loan applications.
- Understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.
- Solid retail math skills for accurate calculations of fees, interest rates, and loan payments.
- Excellent customer service skills to address member inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Familiarity with fraud prevention and detection methods to safeguard member accounts.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience operating cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
1-2 years credit union experience preferred.
