- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Understand and apply debits and credits to financial transactions.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing.
- Demonstrate knowledge of financial concepts and principles.
- Input Rents into the bank and Yardi system - Cut checks as needed - Work with our accounting team - process moveouts Requirements - Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Yardi - Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with tax procedures.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and principles.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Yardi is helpful.
