Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from our vendors back to us.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner - Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle - Verify the accuracy of delivery contents with customers - Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatch team - Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and signatures - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or concerns - Assist with warehouse duties as needed, such as order fulfillment, inventory control, and stock management - Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations - Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation - Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues - Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving processes and inventory control - Knowledge of OSHA guidelines for safe handling of goods - Must be able to pass DOT physical We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
